On the 25th March, the Student Council visited the Ombudsman for Children's office in Dublin for a workshop. The workshop consisted of an introduction on the Universal Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC),the role of the Ombudsman and activities on how rights apply in their own lives. The children showed a great awareness of their rights and enjoyed the Ombudsman interactive, comfortable and bright office. They then had lunch in Wolfe Tone Square before heading back to school.
