13th February 2026 - Ms Donovan’s Sustainability Workshop

Just before the midterm, Ms. Donovan’s 4th Class participated in a sustainability workshop where they learnt about ‘Fast Fashion’ - where in the world certain clothes are made and who makes them. They took part in an interesting discussion about buying clothes in the future, made from materials that will last longer. They talked about mending our own clothes without throwing them out after wearing them once or twice and passing them on to younger family members.

They also got to share some of this information with Ms. Kearney’s 3rd class using some information based game activities.

Did you know that Viking longships could carry between 50 and 60 warriors?

A Viking cargo ship was called a ‘Knarr’.
